Small Town Wedding Dream
Lexi and Pat had the perfect day surrounded by family and friends. These two were more than ready to tie the knot and start the next chapter of their lives together!
The day started with all kinds of first looks, including the bridesmaids' first look, a hilarious surprise from one of the groomsmen (which had everyone laughing), and, of course, the heartwarming moment between the couple themselves.
The wedding ceremony took place in a charming church located in Dow City, IA. A standout feature was the unity ceremony, where Lexi and Pat combined soil from where they grew up into a single pot, then potted a plant together. What an incredibly creative idea!
After the ceremony, I met the bridal party at a local bar...They knew how to have a good time! Need proof? Check out the photos below!
The reception was held at The Stables at Copper Ridge. Don't be misled by the term "small town wedding"—the turnout was anything but small! The venue was packed with so many people who wanted to celebrate the bride & groom. One of the standout moments of the evening was when Lexi shared a dance with her nephew. This heartwarming interaction soon turned into a group dance with Pat and their nieces as well.... and I may have shed a tear or two.
